Healthy movement, breath mechanics, mindfulness and meditation are invaluable for children of all ages. These skills and practices can help kids to better understand and navigate the world and themselves.

Why tryKid's Yoga?

Being a kid today isn’t easy. Between school pressures, endless screens, and constant stimulation, children often feel disconnected from their bodies and senses. Yoga offers a simple, playful way to bring them back to balance—helping kids explore movement, breath, and the world around them with curiosity and joy.

 

At Blue Egg Yoga, our Children’s Yoga for Wellness classes combine mindful movement, sensory exploration, and breathing practices in a supportive, non-competitive space where kids can thrive.  What can kids gain from doing yoga?  Here are some examples:

What to expect in class

Classes are playful and dynamic—full of games, mindful breathing, and sensory-based activities that help kids notice how they feel in the moment. Younger children might explore movement through imagination and storytelling, while older kids practice alignment, posture, and breath awareness with growing curiosity. Every class ends with quiet relaxation, giving children a chance to integrate, reflect, and recharge.

Why it matters

Yoga helps kids feel at home in their bodies, confident in their choices, and more aware of themselves and others. It’s more than exercise—it’s a pathway to curiosity, resilience, and kindness.
